December has started! ❄️ ☃️ December is generally a busy month for everyone, but I’d really like to squeeze as much as I can into it! ( ´σ `*)
This past week has been hectic as well. As I’m about to publish PBS first art book, I need to take care of a lot of side tasks for its release. For example…
Producing keychains
The art book’s “special edition”-which I have yet to formally announce- comes with a keychain and a poster. This week I finally started the production of the merch and sent the keychain design for printing! ☆
Honestly, I am… a total noob at printing. Until this week I’ve never studied the difference between RGB and CYMK. But since the design I created for the keychain clashes a bit with CYMK I was forced to dive into the matter.
It’s an interesting matter, to say the truth, and I’d like to write a tutorial as soon as I gain more experience. However, the keychain is doing fine and I can’t wait to show it to you in one of the next posts!
New character: Subaru
Subaru is one of the new seven male characters that will be introduced with Tokyo Days. This week I continued drawing his character sheet and I can now show you the head and face design.

Art book poll
And lastly, this past week I did a small survey on Twitter.

This result actually came as a surprise. I personally prefer to flip through an art book that only consists in artworks. For the PBS one, I’m displaying artworks and wip pics, though. Being my feelings at odds, I posted this poll to hear more opinions.
After thinking on the matter, I guess that my personal ideal solution would be: having a section that only consists in artworks; having another section that collects all the work-in-progress pics.
This time, I will leave the layout as I originally planned and have artworks and wip pics on the same two-page spread. I will check how positive the response is and then decide for the next book. In any case, this has been a very interesting insight.
And… that’s all!
Thank you so much for reading! ➰💖 See you next! ヽ( ・∀・*)ノ
